GSP insurance

Hi, I have sold a £250 / 3kg item to Germany via the GSP.
If I use Shutl I can buy 'enhanced insurance with signature' for an extra £9.05
Will this just cover the parcel to the GSP depot? Will GSP then insure it for £250 to Germany on the basis that I bought enhanced insurance?
If I don't buy the cover I'm insured up to £25 to GSP but what about onward to Germany. Will they somehow know the value and insure accordingly?
I know it's only my responsibility to track it to the GSP but how do I know it's insured after that?
gosh, that seems complicated - I hope someone can understand what I'm trying to ask, thanks

Once the item reaches the GSP centre safely, responsibility for loss or damage passes to them. I personally don't pay extra for insurance or a signature to them and have never had anything go missing to them although I've not sold anything that high in value. They will know the value and will have priced that into the cost to the buyer.0

Agree with F&L, you just need to insure it to the GSP.
I've also (touch wood) never had anything go missing on its way to the GSP, nor any issues with the GSP onward process.• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.0 -
You don't need a signature.
You need to either insure it to the value or you self-insure.
GSP require you to show POD (proof of delivery) to them in order to win a case.0
