    Where is the money from? You wont be able to satisfy questions about it if the truth itself isnt satisfactory.

    I would do as above and use your cash for your normal spending (petrol, christmas gifts, food etc). Although 7k is a lot to spend that way in 6 months. But I suppose the left over deposits wont be that large.

    Crikey - have things got that strict? Only time I was asked by solicitor where approx 200k had come from, I told them drug smuggling and gun running. She put "savings" down on the form.

    sorry misread the OP! I tend to consider cash in the bank as "cash" as in a cash savings account - there is about £6.24 actually in the house in cash (as in coins and note) :eek:
