Problems with Starling Bank?

Hi,
I paid a cheque into my Starling bank account over the counter at Natwest in Oct 2018. I have a receipt and when I paid in Natwest commented that it was only the second one they had done and only one member of staff new how to do it. Anyhow the money has not arrived in my bank account. I contacted Starling via chat who have referred it to their payments team, however Customer service has not been able to advise me if they will refund the money if the payment can't be traced. I asked if they would refund me the money and claim back of Natwest but they have studiously avoided answering. Has anybody else had a problem like this? How do people rate Starling's response when there is a problem?
Many thanks,
Indigo Summer

As the cheque is now over six months old, why not ask whoever have it to you to cancel it and issue a replacement?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Extremely poorly. I was at loggerheads for months with their customer service team over a simple address change.
Do you know if the cheque is actually cashed in? If not just get it reissued.0 -

Have you raised a formal complaint with Starling more than 8 weeks ago? If so, you can now take your complaint to the FOS.0 -
Starling bank authentication issues.
Hi, is anyone else experiencing issues with Mastercard security verification for Starling debit cards? Every time I try to use my debit card for online transactions, Mastercard blocks the transaction as it is apparently unable to verify my details. I have reported this issue at least 4 times to Starling, and all they keep telling me is to make sure my address details match. I have not changed address for over 20 years and I have no issues with any other payment cards I use. Starling however, do not allow any manual updates on address details, it only looks up your address on Google from post code details. These details are not including my county, and on many of my online accounts, this field is compulsory. So, I am now at the point where I am going to switch bank accounts because they are either unwilling or unable to sort this issue out, instead constantly pushing it back to me to log into & update all my existing accounts, which are working perfectly well with every other payment methods I use.
Has anyone else having these issues, and if so, have you managed to resolve them?? Thanks in advance for any feedback.0 -
It's probably best if you start a new message thread about this rather than tacking it onto an old thread that happens to be about Starling0

Have you checked that you have online transactions set to allow on the app?
