I got a box set for my birthday, region 2 as is my dvd player, and none of the discs will play.Other region 2 discs do play in it, and the new discs aren't damaged or scratched in any way?
Has anyone any idea what might be wrong? ps no dust in the drawer thing either

Hi Candygirl,
Sounds a bit unusual. Have you tried the problem DVDs in another player, maybe a friends? If they won't play in that one either, then I'm afraid you'll have to ask the person who kindly gave you them for some assistance in getting them exchanged because they are faulty.
