Hi All,

Just about to replace the two front tyres on my Hyundai Tucson 1.7 CRDi, just wondering if people stick with the Hankook tyres or do you have any other recommendations?

Hankook and Nexen are South Korean, so standard fit.


Is it a front wheel drive, or all wheel drive? If all wheel drive, the fronts should ideally match the rears.

All tyres sold in UK must meet at the moment EU regulations.

If they have served you well and done decent mileage no need to swap brand. Hankook are a good mid priced tyre.

I recently needed 4 new tyres and as the OEM Yokohamas had done 42,000 and hadn't left me in a ditch I just swapped them like for like.

Mine came with Continental Premium Contact tyres on it. It wasn’t brand new but was only 4 months old with 3000 miles so I assume they were the originals.

car manufacturers will buy tyres in batches for who ever quotes them the best deal. They wont just stick with one brand
