Made to Measure Curtains

Options
Ordered made to measure curtains in store

They have taken 8 weeks to arrive

They have been made well but I am so disappointed they look awful Cheap and nasty, thin and lacking body
When I ordered them I was asked what lining I wanted and was told that they would sit better with ordinary lining]g rather that blackout, so they were the ones I went for
Big mistake I can see now the ones hanging in the shop all have padded linings that give them body

This wasn't given to me as a option

Were do I stand The cost me 500 pounds I paid by their Credit card which I paid off in full

Did you specifically ask for the same lining as the ones in the shop?

Your first port of call is to speak to the shop to ask if anything can be done to change the lining quality.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Blackout lining wouldn't necessarily make them any better. Blackout lining has slightly less drape than ordinary lining, but the difference isn't all that great.

I imagine the ones you looked at in store were interlined (an extra layer between the main curtain fabric and lining). It makes more luxurious curtains, but comes at a luxurious price.

Where did you get these from?

Goods sold by sample or model need to match the sample/model examined, except for any goods specifically brought to the consumers attention before they entered the contract.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride
