To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Sunday Times Audible Short Story award, we are launching a competition, not for the best six-worder, but for the best 10-word short story. The story has to be in English, and contain no more than 10 words, but can be on any subject. The winner will be chosen by The Sunday Times's literary editor, Andrew Holgate.
How to Enter
To enter, simply tweet your entry, along with the hashtag #shortshort.
Or you can email the story to us at shortstoryaward@sunday-times.co.uk, including your name and telephone number with your entry.
The closing date for entries is Sunday, July 7.
The winner will be published in The Sunday Times on Sunday, July 21, when we announce this year's shortlist for The Sunday Times Audible Short Story Award, and will receive 12 free audiobooks of their choice from Audible UK.
