Hi
In my last employment, the company gave me 350 shares....they gave these free to all people who were employed from x date. Which I promptly forgot about, they held them for you.
I was made redundant at the end of last year and had still forgotten about them!
Well, 5 months down they line, someone obviously remembered and they have paid me for them....?! through payroll and so I have now paid PAYE and NIC on them??
is this normal???
