    You can try to negotiate a lower settlement figure, but they offered that when the ntk came

    Do not think that they won't go to court, because they will

    Small claims court will deal with low numbers, such as £50 etc

    If they win their claim they will get around £175 as a judgment, which includes the court fees and their legal fee add-on

    An out of court settlement should be sought, but they don't have to do so

    I know all the above ,its already at court stage,my issue is with the legAl fees,as I understand it they cannot charge them.I was hoping for clarification on that.

    It is my understanding that they may be able to charge say £50 + the court filing fee

    A typical PE court claim is around £175 in total, whereas other firms try it on with the abuse of process charges as seen in the strike outs by judges Grand and Taylor

    PE have settled for less in out of court settlements in the past
