From TSB to the wrong Transferwise account

Options
Hi, I have just sent money from my TSB bank account to my Transferwise account but somehow the Transferwise account number changed so I didn’t receive the money. Do you think will be possible to get the money bank contacting Transferwise (which I did)?
Is my old account number assigned to another transferwise user or it is just invalid and the transfer can bounce back to TSB?

Thanks!

What did TransferWise say about it?

    They didn’t reply yet.
TSB said that it could take 5 weeks if I proceed with them and it is not guaranteed that I will get the money back. What should I do?
I called then 2 mins after sending the transfer but apparently this doesn’t help.

It appears you should have sent the payment to:

    sort code: 23-14-70
    account number: 94106316

using your Transferwise ID as the reference. My reference is eight characters long and begins with a P.

What changed? The bank sort code or account number you sent your payment to or your Transferwise ID?

If your Transferwise ID has changed, is it possible you have a second Transferwise account?

I do find Transferwise a little confusing. I have one of their debit cards. It has a six digit number embosses on it. I've no idea what that's for. I stopped using them when they began charging for debit card top ups.

The transferwise account number changed from the previous time I used it. When i sent the payment this time I used the last account number saved on my bank but somehow it has been changed in my transferwise account. Sort code is the same.
Does it mean transferwise received my money?

You need to clarify what you're talking about and avoid the typos.

Do you have a TransferWise Borderless account, with your own personal account details that you were trying to send your money to? Or were you simply sending money to TransferWise as directed for a transfer you were making?

you need to clarify what you mean

if you sent it to the sort code / account number as in the post above then transferwise will have got it

if the reference number beginning with P has changed then it will be most likely held by transferwise in a suspension accounts. Why did your transferwise account number change did you close it and then reopen a new one?

It could be useful to understand whose the wrong "account number" was.
