Nobody asked for a photo of that baby yet?

OP - show us the baby :)

I took 6 week old kittens in and they were all fine - with proper care. Friend found 2 kittens dumped at about 3 weeks of age, hand rared them.

Please do NOT give it any other milk than proper cat milk - any other milk (even mixed with water) will upset it's little tummy.

You have been scammed, that is a fact. Someone advertising kittens often is not an experienced breeder - it is a scammer, back street breeder with no regards to kittens welfare and in it only for the money. There is no way you will get any "registration certificate", forget it. Do report them if they are really registered though - they may be registered but having unregistered litters and making money this way.

Get the kitten insured (PetPlan if you can afford it) - NOW.

Hopefully aside from being too young and underweight, it does not have any serious health issues - if not insure those could cost thousands.

Moving on - you have a kitten now, enjoy every moment xx
