Penny racer, I certainly don't think your doing anything illegal or immoral, it looks like your trying to deal with your debts and finances in the best way you can.
Some of our fellow mse's should hang there heads in shame, deliberately supplying false information and suggesting that you are a fraudster...pfttttttt shame on you all.
Good luck with whatever decision you make.
IanI had debts, my circumstances changed, I tried but couldn't pay them, I dealt with them in the best way I could.........

The OP asked about the viability of buying a house to renovate and rent out while already struggling with money.
No amount of DFW "hugs" is going to make what the OP is proposing make sense financially.
And they have been told that.
What is the problem?dolce vita's stock reply templates
#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided
#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now
#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing0 -
Maybe this might remind some posters of their manners......
Pls be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.0 -
Good idea while we are on lets jail all the sqatters.
Seriously though it does look like the OP is trying to avoid their debt which they can pay. The law lets them and thats where the problem lies.Barclaycard 3800

People with attitudes like yours.
Yes she received good advice from those who could be bothered. She also got informed she was effectively breaking the law from someone who doesn't seem to know their @rse from their elbow. For future reference to that poster, their elbow isn't the one with their head up it.

PR it just sounds to me like a load of jealous people who can't stand anyone else getting some money. It's your money you can do what you like with it. Your are paying your debts off steadily and thats all they can ask of you. Take no notice of these people and just move on.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

No problem at all with people saying it's a bad idea
Penny herself has doubts, that's why she posted.
But to scare her half to death by making her think she's about to commit fraud, be arrested and end up in jail is bang out of order  (angry smiley not aimed at you

Squat Now - I enjoy reading your posts most of the time. They are often amusing and well.............different.
Opinions are one thing, but your rant on this thread was intended to be fact when it was, in fact, a pile of !!!!!!.
Not only was it misleading which is bad enough, but the OP is now terrified of being kicked out of her house and arrested. See here:
