Issue with Pre school do i have to pay notice

Hi Lilelvis, thank you for your response. He was only going two mornings a week. I do not think they deserve any more money out of me after the way how they have been.
It isn't about how much you think they deserve. It's about how much you are contracted to. I don't have 'little ones' anymore but when I did (teens of years ago) that amount wouldn't have scratched the surface of two half days, let alone a party. Perhaps cut your losses and be thankful.0 -
On the face of it you will have to pay for the notice period. Yes their actions haven’t been professional but the contract will state otherwise. If you feel strongly regarding this you could contact OFSTED to complain0

hi, i had forgotten to mention i had already paid a weeks notice and they have now deducted the amount i had paid towards the party. That is why the amount was so low. thank you everyone for your comments.0

I am afraid if its in the contract to pay a notice period, you will have to. Its common with pre school childcare. I had to pay a couple of time even though I felt I removed my son because the care was totally inadequate. I have to be honest, I gave up on child care because of the way contracts were written.0
