Hi Amanda, I’m hoping to contact him tomorrow. I only found out about him yesterday but all looks very promising. What were your initial impressions after speaking with him? Are you going ahead? I’ll update you once I know more.

Hello Amanda, I said I would update you so here I am. Mark has now drawn up the trust for me. He has had the patience of a saint as I have bombarded him with many, many messages and we made many changes until I was happy that we got the trust to fit best my needs. At £480 inc VAT fixed cost he is ridiculously competitive compared to other solicitors (£750+ VAT for the deed plus £250+VAT per hr locally with another solicitor being £800+ VAT plus her hourly rate). I highly recommend him anyway, his website itself is a wealth of clearly explained information. Gold star for Mr Thompson! Did you use him in the end?

Oh and he doesn’t want paying until the trust account has all been set up and the money in! A solicitor with integrity!
