    Yes, a sort of "Insurance to Protect Payments" if you will. Catchy acronym too - IPP. I wonder if the idea will catch on? ;)

    But someone working part-time in a bar can easily afford the payments on quite an extravagant car if they're living at home... From the article, it seems changing circumstances has brought about hardship - it's not the lenders job to forecast that.

    I'm an absolute car finance tart, but I've always gone into it with my eyes wide open - unfortunately my love of cars outweighs my love of money! :D
