Lease Car Insurance
Hi, I am looking to get a Lease car for a while due offers.
I am looking for an insurance policy with the following restrictions;
I will most likely have the car for 3/6 months at a time then it will change.
Some of the conditions of the rental provider are; ‘Scot Group Ltd t/a Thrifty Car and Van Rental’ must be listed as the legal owner and registered keeper of the vehicle."
"Data protection consent must be added to the policy; this allows a member of our insurance team to speak with your insurance provider and approve that the policy is set up correctly."
"The total policy excess must not exceed £1000."
Any help would be appreciated

Is that not just a mid term hire rather than a lease?
Won't it be costly to hire for 3 - 6 months? Why the need to swap so often?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Well they class it as a short term lease so yes you are correct mid term hire.
It is because half yearly I will not be in the country. So would benefit from the short term so have flexibility.
The issue is trying to find the insurance.0 -
May be easier to go via a broker.0

Benefit in the short term but at what cost?
Cheaper to buy something and tax/insure it for a whole year?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
