Hi All,

Yes, i've left it way way too late but now I've found my paperwork it appears when i bought my car back in 2010 i was sold both PPI and GAP insurance despite saying no to both of them...

Problem I'm facing now is the dealership I bought the car from that arranged the finance is no longer there. I got in touch with Vauxhall because what I can make of all this is they're responsible as they organised the finance? or is it the specific dealership? ANYWAY, The PPI forms I have are headed as MAPFRE - Abraxas and in the first line it says 'thank you for buying you insurance product from Carpeo LTD. 3 different companies...??? and to top it all off the finance for the car was done through GMAC. #confused.com

Who do I make the PPI letter/complaint out to?

You complain to the dealership where you bought it. However, if they no longer exist, you have no one to complain to.

You could try Vauxhall head office if the dealership was a fully owned Vauxhall one.

As above, the first port of call for a mis-selling complaint is to whoever sold you the insurance, not the provider.

You bought a car, finance, PPI and GAP insurance from them.

Vauxhall provided the car, GMAC provided the finance, Mapfre- -Abraxas provided the GAP insurance, and Carpeo provided the PPI.

If the dealership no longer exists, you can try the FSCS.
