Inserting an image How?

I want to post here and include a .jpg image in a folder on my P.C. but when I click on the "insert image" icon it asks for a URL. Cant find "insert file" How does one include such an image. Copy paste does not do it either

You have to use a hosting site such as imgur (other hosting sites are available) and then that gives you the URL, which you then paste into the box in here.

When you upload to imgur you get the option for share links that look like this:

[img ]https://i.imgur.com/UaOzZ86.jpg[/img]

(leave the space out between the g and the close bracket, I've only put it in to stop the forum from loading the image)

The above code generates this:


Simple as that.

OP just for info, the reason you can't just upload your image here is to save space on MSE's servers.
