Ppi company fees

Hi was wondering if anyone can help. I was recently contacted by a company who help claim PPI, they were a bit of a nightmare, continually sending letter of authority letters etc. I got notice a couple of weeks ago that the company was not upholding the claim so I didnt get anything. I contacted the financial ombudsman, sending details etc. The ombudsman upheld my complaint and the company have given me a settlement. I was wondering if the claim company are due their fee 24%, I feel their claim didnt get me a settlement and I was the one who got the settlement. They offered a no win no fee, so infact they didnt win on their claim.

Yes, they're due their fee.
You were always the one who would need to secure the settlement. The claims company only agreed to post your complaint for you.
Escalation to FOS is all part of the same complaint.0 -

You've learned that the hard way, I'm afraid.
You've signed a legally-binding contract for them to represent you in PPI complaints. You've also agreed to pay them 20% of any redress awarded (plus VAT).
You'll have to pay up..0 -
If any of the letters of authority the op received were actually signed and sent back.0
