    Afternoon chums :)

Back from my appointments. I was right to be a bit concerned. I had cataract lens replacements about 5 years ago and apparently my left eye is badly clouded now so they have referred me for lazer treatment at the hospital easily sorted they seem to think but anything eye related is always worrying.

Hair is now thoroughly chopped and it took ages so shows how bad it was :o Glad I'm not the only one who hates it all but must stress they are so friendly and positive and once its all over I feel 7lb lighter :D I loathe getting my hair washed but I think the worst for me is having to sit and look at myself in a mirror for half an hour :rotfl: I left realising my turkey neck looks awful and I am looking very old compared to the teeny tiny young girls flying around the salon. So no more mirror staring for a while now as the news is rarely good :D

I'm off to build my mood back up in the garden with my chillies :)

Csarina glad OH is doing well. Have a hug from me and I am sending you positive vibes. Gers you too hun. We enjoyed the fennel and vermicelli dish last night. Definitely a keeper. I served.it with some ham on the side. Holly H hugs to you too. HH hope all goes well with the negotiations with Steve's job.

DH and I are chilling out in the sitting room with the curtains drawn. Nice and cool. DH emptied the sandpit last night and washed it out this morning after we went shopping early. DS is bringing home some bags of play sand after work. The new rectangular paddling pool is going up ready for tomorrow. DD bought a battery operated pump for it since DH had a bad back last week. He is better now. Actually ai think the pool is more for DD as dgs likes the garden hose lol

We are still all digesting the news that dgs will have to go to London for an operation on his left eye. He has glaucoma in that eye and his pressures are high. Luckily DH went to the apppintment with DD as she was distraught. Oh well we shall continue to support them as much as we can.

Well keep cool and look aftet yourselves.
