Close motor finance claim

Hello all,
I am a bit late on this quest for making a claim but not sure if it is even possible. I took out finance with Close Motor Finance about 8 years back. I have looked at PPI claims before but don't list this company. So my question is, can I claim?.if so how do I even try ?
Forgot to say I took out payment protection incase I lost my job .. i was advised on this action.

Are you certain you bought PPI as late as 2011?

It sounds more likely to have been GAP insurance, for example. Check your documentation..

Regardless, you don't have to use any "list" in order to complain. Just address a letter of complaint directly to whoever sold you the insurance.

To be honest I think it maybe was GAP. I know I was advised if on temp contract to get this incase I lose my job. So basically I can't claim?.

GAP insurance is not PPI, but you can complain about anything if you have valid reasons for doing so.

On what basis would you say this insurance was mis-sold to you?
