VCS Letter Before Claim Clarification Request

Final question - I'm not sure if my witness needs to be involved in the case. They are literally just confirming what I said, and have nothing extra to add. Am I going to raise any problems by not having the witness submit a statement if I earlier said I'd have a witness?
Thanks0 -
No. None. The amount of time for the hearing won't change
having them confirm your side is helpful,,surely.2 -
Hello again everyone. VCS' witness statement finally arrived (dated 2.11 but only arriving 8 days before the hearing). I've read it, and I've got no idea what they're doing.
The pack itself is just everything I've ever sent them, all their letters and some undated photographs stapled together. It's a mess.
The witness statement is rambling and seems to be referring to other cases entirely at times: refuting claims I haven't made, referring to incorrect circumstances, apparently getting my gender wrong. At several points they make claims that are directly proven false by the evidence they themselves have attached.
Is this usual? Is it some sort of tactic? If it's just them being hopeless, how do I bring this to the attention of the judge?
Thanks, as always, for your help.3 -
It is usual , yes
Read a few recent court case threads where the issues were replied to with advice on what to do
Do not just stay on this thread , read others like we do , learn things3 -
@LordHorrendous scan the statement and stick it on here. When you have your hearing you'll want to use the generic statement and the errors to show that it is legal argument cobbled together and not factual at all. By shooting the credibility one can legitimately ask whether the statement maker has ever visited the site much less checked and verified the documents as appended and relied on.5

Wasn't able to scan the document, unfortunately, but your advice was clear enough, thanks.@LordHorrendous scan the statement and stick it on here. I'm putting my crib sheet together now. Can anyone tell me if it's better to open with detailing the problems with the claimant's witness statement, and then follow with my own defence points or should I do it the other way round?
Thanks all.0 -
Take photos. Especially any contract
DO NOT redact *anything* OTHER THAN *your* personal details. Only redact what youve been told, do not do anything more
You have no control over the order, I would suggest you attack their crap WS that clearly is not a statement and is not from a witness. Have you summarsied all the mistakes?2 -
Ive made the summary:
Edit: removed summary in a fit of paranoia in case someone from VCS is checking this forum.
The document they've sent is about 70 pages long. I can upload pics but it might take a while. Hearing is tomorrow. I know someone will tell me that I'm leaving it too late but things have been hell recently. I've been doing this stuff in the middle of the night when I've got an hour here or there.

Just show us the contract. thats usually the main thing.
As I said, DO NOT REDACT the contract in any way shape or form.3 -

Here you go. If I need to reformat these or anything please let me know.
