Hi moneysavers,
I recieved an e-mail from ebay a short time ago which expires 7th June...
States that if i put in a code.. i get 20% off my purchase at ebay. I have tried it and doesnt work.. rang paypal.. was kept on hold for 15mins only to be told eventually by an advisor that they e-mailed some people by accident that weren't entitled to the voucher aswell as those who were.
She said there was nothing she could do... as i was paying a national call rate presumably i let it go telling her i wasnt happy.
Has anyone else expreienced this and can they do this? I thought they would have to honour it if its been specifically e-mailed to me ?

Maybe put your case in writing with a copy of the e-mail, also details the amount of time you were on hold for (in future use www.saynoto0870.com) not sure how much success you will have though.2p off is still 2p off!0

apparently it's cheaper to do an international call to the US paypal line than it is to call the UK one...0
