You have well underpaid for a periodic inspection. My minimum charge for those is £200 - not £100.

Nonsense. I checked with three other electricians and that was the price. £100 mark.

Do you overcharge on all your jobs? Is that why you can sit back and reply nothing useful at 10am on a workday :rotfl:

    No I don't overcharge.

The fact is that you have no concept of what is involved with periodic inspection and testing, and by buying cheap you are now having to buy twice. So you have brought it on yourself.

My dual SIM BlackBerry allows me to respond wherever I am. I was at two different commercial jobs in Letterkenny this morning so took a break between them. Hardly that difficult a concept to understand.

He hasn't underpaid at all as he paid the price that was quoted for the job.
If the electrician wants to charge £100 then he is obviously not losing money on the job or he would charge more.

Trust me cheap periodic inspections (EICR) result in poor and incompetent EICRs.

Whats it like Negatron, being the only person who's right and being so full of yourself? Do you ever get cold, being on the moral high ground all the time?

    Genuinely interested to know.

My daughter paid about £100 for her one bedroom flat.
