Can't get a sensible response from moped manufacturer

HI, i'm not sure if my post is in the right place,i was wondering if anyone could provide me with some advice and assistance ,as i am having a torrid time with Sinnis motorcycles.
I purchased a brand new Sinnis Shuttle EFI 125 in September last year. I brought the moped brand new to eliminate the possibility of potential mechanical problems ,i reasoned being new and coming with a 2 year warranty ,i would have peace of mind. Unfortunately the bike began to develop problems with the ignition in wet weather inn January. I was told by my dealership that it was a battery issue,but taking it to an independent mechanic later ,they confirmed it was an ignition issue. The issue is one of an intermittent nature ,the mechanic has told me for this reason it's unrepairable ,somehow water is ingressing and stopping the ignition ,during inclement wet weather. AS i was coming up for the second service need to maintain my warranty with the dealership,i googled their phone number ,only to find to my shock that the dealership had ceased trading. I emailed Sinnis and asked them what i should do,they said i should take it to my nearest dealership in Nottingham,i am in Leicester. I said the bike was far too dangerous (as it kept failing) to take on a busy A road. They said that i could get it transported by recovery vehicle ,but that i would have to pay. Instead i took it to a local mechanic .who diagnosed the issue with the intermittent fault in the ignition.Everyone has advised me to contact sinnis ,but sinnis have just sent an email back to take to their Nottingham dealership. Again ,, i would have to pay for transportation of the moped myself,and it seems that based on what the mechanic has said the moped is currently unrepairable. My 2 year warranty has been invalidated as i did''nt take it to sinnis for it's scheduled second service ,i didn't take it to Nottingham for the reasons stated above,i thought it would be quicker and cheaper to go for a local fix,instead of having to gt the moped transported to Nottingham every time it broke down.I contacted sinnis and asked them to offer a sensible solution,they have supplied me with the contact details for the Nottingham dealership the same as before.
In summary i can't sell the bike due to the fault,it doesn't seem that i can repair it ,and it doesn't seem that sinnis are prepared to do anything about it. As far as i can tell sinnis should offer to help me .as the fault developed within a six month window of me purchasing the moped. Ideally they would try to fix the bike and if unrepairable would supply me with a new machine or offer me a refund ,with allowance for depreciation. Can anyone help me on this? ,how can i get Sinnis to engage with me? Surely the above situation can't be right. If i had known my local dealership would close i never would have brought the moped in the first place ,as Nottingham is too far and dangerous on an unsafe and under powered 125. As it stands the moped is unsafe to use ,as the engine can cut out any time moisture has managed to seep in,obviously this makes me very vulnerable on the road ,as the moped can cut out at any time.

Should it have been serviced due to the mileage you've done as it's not yet a year old?

You can sell the bike, but selling it as faulty / spares / repair will have very little value.
It can be repaired, your local guy doesnt seem to want to. If its water ingress then it needs that section / part replaced.
You did not buy the bike from Sinnis, you bought it from a dealer, they offered an alternative. Get it trailered to Nottingham, its not that far from Leicester.
Fairly easy to repair. What maybe harder is making sure the problem does not occur again. Waterproof the ignition.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Why can't your local garage just order a replacement ignition module?it doesn't seem that i can repair it

If you can solve the problem of the water ingress, you can sell the solution back to Sinnis!
Their website is illegal BTW. No Registered Address, no Registered Company number etc.

Double pedant alert -in the UK "The term moped describes any low-powered motor driven cycle with an engine capacity not greater than 50 cc (3.1 cu in) and a maximum design speed of no more than 45 km/h (28 mph)".
So it's still not a moped because it's over 50cc.

Yep, pedals haven't been required on what used to be Class P, now AM, <50cc motorbikes since the 70s.0
