agreed, if the 6 months has expired then its likely that nothing will happen

had it been less than 6 months , then anything could have happened
  • Thank you for the link. Here's what Thameslink Govia state on their website: (As a newbie the forum won't let me post the link)
    Thameslink Railway
You can purchase daily or weekly e-tickets, scratch cards or season tickets online or on-the-go via the Saba Parking App for the Thameslink Railway line, part of the Govia Thameslink Railway network. Not all products are available at every car park, however, available products are displayed against your chosen station. If you are ordering a season ticket online, please allow seven working days to receive this. All permits are non-transferable. Disabled parking is free across the Thameslink network.
  • So this might be helpful for others: Disabled parking IS free across the Thameslink network but you must register your BB on SABA website before hand. (That's the bit BB driver wasn't aware of)

well they wouldnt if its only on the website, because not everyone goes to websites and not everyone uses the internet, so it should say so on the signage such that a BB holder can read it without getting out of their vehicle, at the actual disabled bays at the stations themselves

if you get pics of those signs, please link us to them

Can you confirm was this heinous crime over 6 months ago?
  • Very good point Redx. I'm sorry not everyone understands disability. And yes, I will endeavour to get someone to get photos for the record but it won't be tomorrow!

    Waamo - yes just

Brilliant. It has now timed out. They cannot do anything other than send scary letters. Write to them and tell them to stop. They will have to stop.

agreed, its like those of us with disabilities have to jump through more red tape just to get the basic rights under the EA2010

it should be made mandatory that service providers adhere to the EA2010 and make it easy for people to understand exactly what they must do and how, taking into account that some of them have no phone , no internet and are not net savvy

therefore some form of appeal that allows them to state these issues and that automatic cancellation follows once they are made aware should be mandatory

ie:- the quoting of a BB ID number , a picture of it by email , or whatever method makes it easy to identify that person as special requirements and an immediate cancellation without jumping through hoops

write and tell them to destroy the data under the "right to be forgotten" and GDPR because they have no right to hang onto it now that the 6 month period has expired

Do we need to say the same thing about the 6 months ten times?
All SABA cases tell you this is timed out, and it's now been said here at least 3 times, so there is no charge to discuss.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
