  • Thanks guys!

So if I get a Gladstone’s letter it has to be formally inviting me to start court proceeding, not just chasing the debt, I have photo evidence and willing to battle this should it come down to it

depends on the reference number on the Gladrags letter

if its a 1 , then its Gladrags warning of court and inviting payment to themselves on behalf of the claimant to avoid it going that far (their name , address and contact details will be on it)

if their client decides to initiate court proceeedings, then Gladrags (or UK CPM) would file the MCOL claim online, which will come in the post from the CCBC in Northampton (a real office, not a mail drop)

too many "what ifs" and not enough concrete facts - yet

Do the SAR by email to UKCPM's DPO, as the NEWBIES thread explains. Always best to see all photos and all letters, in advance.
I have now received a letter from Trace Legal Department saying they are assessing the case and may take me to court.
Are they writing to you at a new address? Just wondering why Trace are involved (and they are only debt crawlers and they don't sue).

If there is any possibility that UKCPM hold an old address for you as well then include in the SAR email, your new postal address that Trace wrote to, and confirm to UKCPM that this is your 'address for service' and tell them to 'erase' and 'rectify' (use those words) the data they hold about your address.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
