    Not anymore they don't.
    That's got pulled too.
  • For information only.

I called the new applications helpline earlier and was informed that Barclaycard are looking at a new credit card which will have the no fees abroad benefit - a work in progress it would appear.

That begs the rather obvious question - what's "wrong" with the one(s) that were good until the start of last week and why do they need replaced ?
  • They’re just switching things up and testing the waters to see what customers go for in a card.

It’s likely the same reasons the Freedom Rewards card was pulled.

Wow, that card just got downgraded massively then.

I got accepted on the 21st and my introductory offer was the following:

Non-sterling transaction fees will not be charged on transactions made on or before
31/08/2023. (Standard or cash interest rates apply depending on the type of transaction).
You will get 0.25% cashback on purchases until 31/08/2023. This will be credited monthly
to your statement. You will get an additional 0.25% cashback on all purchases for the first 3
months from opening your account referred to as ‘double cashback’. All purchases will receive
cashback unless you move the transaction to an Instalment Plan, which will have its own
    terms and fees.

Mine doesn't seem to include the fee-free foreign withdrawals though? I wonder if this was dropped earlier or I'm just reading this incorrectly?

How do you know it doesn’t offer it?

You’ll either need to phone and confirm or wait for your first statement as it’s printed on there

Have you received your welcome letter yet? I applied on 16 June and only received mine yesterday (card arrived a week ago). This is what mine said:

True, I'll see what it says on my first statement as it's not something I'll need to use for a few months. I wish they have a live chat feature on their website or app like AmEx, maybe they do but I haven't come across it yet. I've sent them a secure message which they haven't come back to yet.

Nope I've not had that yet, my card arrived 3 days ago I think. I'm guessing mine includes the free foreign withdrawals as well, I'll have a look when I get my first statement.

They promise to respond within 24 hours - I've found their replies are generally quick(ish).
