Hi we have just bought a second hand dining table, the seats are cushioned but a light colour and are a bit dirty. Any tips on how to clean them would be appreciated!

Can you remove the seats or are they fixed? If the seats are removable you could consider taking off the covering, usually held in place by staples & gently handwashing the fabric before replacing & restapling.
If the seats are not removable then steam cleaning may bring them up nicely or depending on what the actual fabric is you could try to sponge them clean in situ then press with a towel to remove as much of the water as possible before leaving to dry fully before sitting on the seats. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
I would recommend Stardrops in a little warm water and a soft scrubbing brush or sponge. Swish it up to get lots of bubbles and gently scrub the covers. Be careful not to get them too wet. You may need to do it more than once with stubborn stains but it worked a treat on my dining chairs.0

Or recovering with new fabric. It is really easy, & I do my chairs regularly (I would have to have mostly cream seats, and a most grubby cat)0 -
Thanks all for your help!! Going to try cleaning them first but if no good I might be brave and give recovering a go!!0
