Yep I would love to myself, but couldn't publically "OUT" myself:eek:

Agreed...my family only just coped last time I 'outed' myself - mind you, it was a rather different outing that time...pmsl

Why Martin? What's wrong with asking us? ;)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • To be honest I think the person this would appeal to is either the person that has just or is about to start their debt free journey.

I will probably (hopefully be debt free before it is done)
  • Average Joe walking down the streets of Britain is as good a place to start as any - I suppose we've at least recognised our problems!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

Can just imagine Martin walking down the street with a sign like the street doctors do.

    Do you have debt?
I can fix it - free

Makes you wonder just how long the banks would survive if that started happening.

I'm going to suggest to any newbies (some sound really desperate when they start out and at the end of their tether), to have a look at this thread. Getting a range of different circumstances and amounts would be good to show the various techniques that could be brought to bear.

I have just applied. I think the shock of people knowing about me may be what I need to help me. However hard I try the debt just keeps niggling away at me......
  • I've applied - bit scared though. It would be a big thing going on TV to talk about my debt. Don't think I'll get picked but its worth a go. Its my dream to be debt free but no matter how many helpful things I read on this site I just can't get my head round it as figures just baffle me.
