Hi ,
I wonder if anybody can help , My mother passed away 9 years ago and i knew she had many loans / credit cards so i did a PPI check on her behalf just out of curiosity really , I have now received a cheque in her name and I was wondering if there is anyway I can claim this money as I was an only child and sole beneficiary to her estate when she passed?
Thankyou

It needs to go to her estate, any appropriate taxes paid and will then be distributed in accordance with the will.
