    Good morning everyone :hello:

It's a bit of a dull day here this morning but I am expecting the sun to come out later on. Yesterday turned out to be really warm but it was a sticky night and I needed to sleep with a fan on all night.

Just had a Tesco delivery so we have lots of bread and milk now and Lilly has some ingredients as she has expressed a wish to do some cooking. Not being one to look a gift horse in the mouth I have stocked her up so she can make some Moldavian flatbreads and Ukrainian stuffed buns....no I don't know what they are either :D .

Gers, thank you for asking about my meeting. In short, they didn't turn up so I rang them after 20 mins and was passed onto one of the people who should have come to see me. He told me that the other person was off sick and although he had seen my appointment in his diary he had decided I didn't need to see him as I have been assigned a mental health worker. As I am not psychic I unfortunately didn't realise this. I had a very half hearted apology but I still feel cross as my anxiety was through the roof about them coming here.

Jemima came to see me yesterday and was in a great mood which was nice to see. My grand daughter has an induction day tomorrow at big school and she is very excited about it. They went to order her uniform last night and have a look round the school and meet their form tutors. She still seems too little to be going up in September as she is one of the smallest in her class. I am hoping that she will have a good experience there and they will look after her properly.

We are having a meat free day today so it is going to be spicy bean burgers for lunch and cauliflower cheese grills for dinner. Hopefully Steve won't moan too much :).

Sorry to hear that your mum is still struggling Gers, hoping that her appetite improves, it must be such a worry for you xx
Holly, I am thinking about you a lot and really hope you are getting the care you need xx

Hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to, take care xx

Dumpling - I'm cross for you! It's just so rude, thoughtless and downright unprofessional to leave you waiting needlessly. I hope you put a complaint in.

Delivery been and gone, all very simple apart from being offered an extra tray which wasn't mine. My planned coffee with a friend has been postponed until tomorrow as an email came through from BT / DPD about the mini hub being delivered between 3.30 and 4.30pm. The broadband is being dodgy and an engineer is coming out tomorrow morning, meanwhile they send a mini hub and increased mobile data.

I've been clearing out DM's fridge - tubes of anchovy paste dated BB 2000, newest tube of lemongrass dated BB 2013, about six items now in the bin!

It is amazing the stuff did not just walk out of the fridge by itself.

Have had a long day of baby wrangling and really enjoyed it. I made a beef stew for lunch and had lots left so suggested DD take it home to save them cooking tonight.

Tomorrow's lunch is planned to be a pork chop, peas and actifry wedges and I have some diced beef I can cook for Friday.
