Hi,
I recently cleared all my Credit card debts and now im debt free. As per the credit card companies it will take at least 2 months to get my credit files updated.
Recently i received a reply from one of the credit agencies(Credit Karma) that even my credit file takes time to get updated , the LENDERS can access the MAIN DATABASE held with Transunion UK and see the recent updates much quicker.
Is this true? Im asking the above question as I will be applying for a mortgage very soon and wonderign how my credit will affect the accpetance of the mortgage. The initial Mortgage DIp has been a succuess and I can see in my credit file the Bank has done some sort of Credit check.
Thanks in advance

Your credit file with Credit Karma updates every 7 days.
So providing the lenders have sent their updates, regardless of your “snapshot” file updating, lenders will see a real-time view.
If you have a DIP already then I’m guessing all is well0 -
Gary are suggesting that:
e.g. I made a payment on 16th May to clear a default, this has been updated as satisfied on Experian and Equifax but not CreditKarma.
That, lenders will already see this as satisfied even though my weekly report shows otherwise?0 -
Yes if the CRA database is updated.
Regardless of what your weekly snapshot says0
