PPI been through bankruptcy

Hello, just been in touch with PPI company who said they couldn’t help me as I’ve been through bankruptcy, but that I may be able to do it myself through MSE. Is this something I can do or does having been a bankrupt many years ago mean I can’t do it at all. I’ve had the discharge letter in 2012 after paying moonbeever for 3 years, but could just do with some more info as to whether it is possible?
Many Thanks

PPI redress is a pre-bankruptcy asset which belongs to the Official Receiver for redistribution to your former creditors. It's actually unlawful for a former Bankrupt to complain about PPI without reference to the OR..

No point, any money would go to OR.0
