Mysterious Car Hire Accident in Italy with Europcar

Not all those rules are applicable with the same force throughout Italy, it's a very regionalized country!
I'm very proud of my 7 years there without a car accident but that was in the north, near the French border. It was always amazing to note that just over into France indicators actually were used!
I tell a lie, I once reversed into a wreck of a Panda on a dark wet night in the condominio car park. Out I get and inspect the damage but the car was in such a state that it would have been difficult to ascribe any of it to my mild impact. So I swear to myself, pull over and start scrabbling in the glove box and on the floor for a pen and piece of paper to leave my number. Whilst I was doing that the car zoomed off! Problem solved. ;-)
Yep, driving in Italy needs alertness.0
