Mothercare warranty and administration

Hi moneysavers,
We are looking to buy a Mothercare own branded pram, the Mothercare Journey Edit, although we have heard that Mothercare are going into administration and could potentially close down.
We are concerned that if we do purchase the mothercare own brand pram, we are not sure what would happen to the warranty if Mothercare closes down.
If there was a problem with the pram, there would be no-one to take it back to in order to get it fixed.
What would you guys advise in terms of the warranty and buying from mothercare? What rights would we have should Mothercare close down?
Thanks in advance

Well, if Mothercase closes dowen then anything they offer will be useless as there would be no legal entitly to claim from.
If you pay on a credit card then depending on the costs of the pram, your card issuer might have some liabilty , which woul enable you to get a refund if the pram were faulty, although time limits apply.
If the manufacturer offers a warrnety then you might be able to contact them, otherwise read the awarrenty and see who is actually offering it.
If it is going to worry you, consider buying adiferent brand. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0
