Bill Protector and PPI? - Halifax

Hi all, new poster, had lots of success with PPI claims, but lost with the below.

I have just successfully reclaimed £400 from Halifax on a credit card, but...

Halifax made me aware that I had a bill protector policy that my wife and I knew nothing about, that's bad enough, but they have also told me we had PPI tied to that policy?

I guess a bill protector policy is to protect us in case of the obvious with mortgage etc, but why would PPI have been added to that? sounds like PPI on top of PPI?

I have been sent the usual sheets to complete, but don't know where to start with this..

Any advice.
