Sky Go Grey Screen Macbook Air (Mojave)

Hi All...trying to use the Sky Go App but all I'm getting is a grey screen after it launches and checks for updates.Have tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail.

Any ideas?

    Difficult to say with the information supplied. How long have you waited for the "looking for updates" to complete? How is your broadband and the laptop's connection to it? Is it the latest version of the app? Is your OS up-to-date with all latest updates installed? If there's nothing obvious there then the best other option is to speak to Sky.
    Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.

    Hi Tempus...The checking for updates automatically completes in a couple of seconds then it loads the normal Sky Go start screen which within less than a second changes to the grey screen.

    There are no problems with connectivity regarding the laptop.

    I presume it's the latest Sky Go app as I downloaded again today it today from the Sky web site.My OS is bang up to date.

    As you suggest I'll give Sky a ring.
