PCN for 'No Entry Permitted"

Help please.
I have received a Parking Charge Notice from Horizon Parking.
My car was driven into a Sainsburys carpark a couple of hours after the store was closed on a Sunday evening. It was recorded as being in the car park for nearly 25 minutes.
The PCN I have just received states it has been issued for: No Entry Permitted (ANPR)
Can anyone advise me how I should proceed with this. I couldn't work out which template would fit my circumstances.
Thank you in anticipation.

Is the car a lease car, hire car or the suchlike? Was this in Scotland or Northern Ireland?
The thread at the top of this board that tells Newbies to read it first has several templates. The standard one is in blue. The only time it doesn't apply is if you answer "yes" to any of to any of the above questions.0 -
Sorry, but after reading the templates they refer to charges for overstaying etc.
My 'offence' was that my car entered the car park when the car park was closed.
I'm not very good at coping with these things, and am having difficulty understanding what to do.
If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.0 -
Then just follow the guidance offered.I'm not very good at coping with these things...
Unless you can answer 'yes' to any of Waamo's questions, send the blue text template unchanged - no additions or alterations necessary.
You are missing the point that that template will be recognised as coming from MSE forums and the PPC may well put it in the 'too difficult' pile.
Even if they don't cancel the charge, they will supply a PoPLA code where you will win easily.
Send it as the keeper.0 -
Thank you very much for your help.
I sent the unedited standard blue template, even though I wasn't sure it suited my exact circumstances. Less than a week later I have just received confirmation that the charge has been cancelled.
This forum is invaluable in fighting against the unfair/unjust charges these parking firms try to extort from us.0 -
Well done, and thanks for coming back and telling us the result.
Remember to tell all your friends and family to come here if they ever get an unfair parking charge.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Easy when you know how, isn't it?! :TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
