E: 26/06 Win a luxurious break for two in Northumberland
Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The prize:
The winner and a guest will stay for three nights, B&B, at the Lord Crewe Arms, in Blanchland, Northumberland. Once the abbot’s lodge and guesthouse of a medieval priory, the hotel is now an extraordinarily atmospheric Pennine property where modern luxury combines with a heady sense of the past. The pub is in a barrel-vaulted chamber and the restaurant is in the bishop’s dining room. Beyond the village are the wild Pennine moors, and there’s much to see nearby, including Hadrian’s Wall, Durham Cathedral, the Beamish open-air museum and High Force waterfall.
The prize includes one dinner for two, excluding wine, in the Bishop’s Dining Room restaurant, where most of the ingredients are locally sourced.
The prize must be taken before December 20, 2019, subject to availability and excluding August 24-26.
