New car SZ MG problems

We bought SZ MG from new about five weeks ago, my husband noticed the gearbox had a clonking noise when you pulled away in first gear and also in reverse and a whine in first gear.

We took the car back within the first week after they had it a day they said no fault but we can rebook it in and the MG technician will take a look.

MG technician has now looked at my car and says all SZ have this problem !! book it in for a few days and they will take the gearbox out and see whats causing it.

We took advantage of the 0 % finance.

My biggest question is leaglly where do I stand ?

Can I return the car if we're still not happy when we get the car back?

How do I start this possess ?

AIUI you are past the 30 day right to reject and so the dealer has an opportunity to fix the fault.
If they fail to do this satisfactorily then you can reject the car via the finance company.
May be worth reading your paperwork and familiarising yourself with the process just in case......

Do you mean the MG ZS? If so there have been other owners with similar issues, you might find some help or other owners on the MG fourms, this sounds similar to one of your issues; https://forums.mg-rover.org/zs-suv-2017-313/grinding-noise-when-reversing-turning-866645/
