Building Bricks

Forgetful

Hi can anyone tell me where I can buy a few building bricks to repair a garden wall??
I need about 6 bricks...cannot seem to get any in B&Q

Depends what you want but Wickes do plain red engineering bricks and you can just pick up the number you want - I bought 20 block paving stones in there a week or so back. They do have a few different varieties.

Are there any skips in your area where building works are going on? When you only need small quantities of materials a skip can usually come up trumps. I needed 4 bricks some time ago for a repair to the step of my concrete shed & a neighbours skip contained the very thing. :j

the large BQ superstores do bricks.
i use the nearest wickes to me for any builders materials.
as been said, a skip will normally have a few free bricks in it.
if you want matching bricks to your wall, then a reclamation yard maybe required. theres one in bolton (off raikes lane).

go into any builders yard,jewson/buildcentre,they will sell you 6 and will have a greater range of bricks for a better match.
