Help with software for a canon powershot A410.

I have a canon powershot A410 and have the software, my computer had to be sent away to get fixed and it was wiped but i thought no big deal as i have the disk.
Last night i tried to put the software back onto computer but i can only get so far and then this message comes up: Error reading from fileC;\ProgramFiles\Canon\PhotoRecord\PhotoRecord\art\baby\07_frame_border3.fpx.
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
I've looked for the software online but can't find any except updates.
Any advice would be great.

I have a Powershot A75, just connected the lead that came with it, to PC, and photos download just fine. Don't know if the software will do more.0

I don't believe it, i tried that so many times last night and nothing happened except that a bubble appeared to tell me new hardware, but it just worked thank you so much.

Good!!:D My friend gave me my camera, bless her! She didnt have the software, looked on that site, couldn't make head or tail of it! she suggested the lead, and it worked:j0
