Anybody would be able to recommend any dependable (but not too expensive) Conveyancing Solicitor in Manchester area?
I had a few quotes done already:
I would like to just get your opinion and know if it is better in general to go with a big law firm and pay the extra or maybe go with offers around £850. Any recommendations welcome, and please let me know if these prices are rip offs!
Cheers

A local firm (not big city or national practice) will be cheaper, probably be more attentive and answer your queries with a detailed response, their Secretary will be clued up and know what stage your purchase is at, what they are waiting to come in etc. Fees will be lower as their charge out rates will be lower.
National/city practices / online conveyancing won't have the personal touch, costs more for legal fees as their charge out rates are higher.
Even though it's fixed fees, it's still based on your solicitor, legal executive, paralegal, conveyancer hour rate.
Disbursements are usually set prices, depending on which company is used to undertake them.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0
