I can see what you are saying but if the debts been sold the original creditor wouldn’t be contacting you in regards to it anyway so contacting them surely wouldn’t cause any unwanted phone calls, or you could always hide your number before contacting them if you don’t want them to have access to it.0 -

I avoid phone calls to creditors if I can. I prefer email or letter as that way have a record of what was said. I wrote to quick quid when changing from Step Change to self managed and have not had a reply.0
