I had several catalogue accounts when I was younger. I also had a store card for "Wallis" when I was in my 20s. I am now 53. Can I apply for PPI refund for a store card from so long ago? Is it called PPI on a store card?? As for catalogue companies is there a template I can use for claiming? Many thanks in advance

You can't apply for a refund, but you can make a mis-selling complaint, if the seller still exists.
Don''t use a template because only you know what your mis sale reasons are.0 -
PPI miss-selling really started in the 90s, if you're talking 30 years ago, 1989 time, what records do you have that prove you have PPI and how are you going to substantiate your complaint reasons?
In addition, store card PPI sales were pre-regulation so it will depend on whether the firm (or the finance provider) even accept the complaintSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Bear in mind that it is highly likely that records no longer exist for such an old account.I work in Data Protection and spend my days dealing with CMC's. Only here trying to help!!0
