Ripped off by locksmiths - do I have a right for refund?

Earlier today I tried to remove and refit the locks myself and I am honestly shocked at how simple it was. In future I will do this myself, though I hope I don't have to, and will also offer to help out any friends who may need their locks changing.
Yeah it's a shame we get a lot of people on here with similar problems regarding locks and it's the same every time, lockies charging incredible amounts for a job an unskilled layman (my mum) can do in a few minutes. Spread the word! :beer:0 -
As mentioned, changing locks takes 5 minutes and zero qualification.
I cant say you were ripped off.0 -
It's a bad feeling when you know you have been ripped of but it's a lesson learned and you will be a lot wiser next time your in a similar situation.0

Any business that is able to extract money legitimately is most unlikely to come and burgle you
After all the publicity if caught would take them down!0 -
I wouldn’t worry, any half decent locksmith wouldn’t even need a key to get thru most doors0
