I had several loans and credit cards and when I was made redundant I contacted stepchange who negotiated a payment plan on my behalf. I am still paying this and likely to for some time. Can I still claim ppi or is it not worth it.

It may be too late for a claim, but you could ask. You should have claimed on the policy at the time of redundancy. It probably won't unwind the defaults thought.
Failing that but you can complain. Any redress will go towards any unpaid sums.0 -
You can't "claim PPI", you can certainly complain about it if you had it.
Not every loan or card had PPI.
Having PPI is not wrong.
All that matters is miss-selling.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
