Hi, my daughter is at Uni and about to start the 2nd year of her course.
She has a HSBC student account with an overdraft but wants another one to manage her money better with another overdraft.
As the concerned father I disscussed what she was doing here, worried about taking on more debt but lets assume for now that we are going for it ........if its even possible.
Can she get another account with an overdraft?

You can’t have a student account elsewhere.0 -
you can and i did, the banks put it in their T&C's you can't but as long as the accounts are at separate banks (and not owned by the other) they have no way of checking.
So the first reply is correct in that hsbc say you can't but they can't actually enforce it.0
