Getting funds out of Raisin

News! My £1020 has just arrived in my account. Which is reassuring!
Doesn't change my view of Raisin though - dreadful website, dreadful comms, ridiculous problems with their migration to Starling (which apparently was impossible if you had the nous to already have a personal account with Starling - so a fairly mega flaw in Starling's systems and a rubbish bit of due diligence by Raisin when they opted for the Starling system) and, to cap all that, a clumsy method of giving you your money back (and documenting the process within the account).
Don't think I'll be returning.0 -

They might, I suppose, be doing the legacy accounts differently to those on the Starling platform. So depending on which you're on the timing may differ.
The wording they gave for the legacy accounts was that money would be transferred direct to the original nominated account. But from some descriptions above it seems people are expecting it to move from 'Gatehouse to Raisin' within the screen they see when logged in. That was not, afaik, an option on the legacy accounts - which is a direct transfer to the external account, which may suggest another timing difference.0 -

Do you find free tenners attractive? Well I never!0 -
In common with postings on Gatehouse/Raisin thread, my funds arrived in Raisin, withdrawal request saw funds arrive very quickly at Nominated account.0

I had the opposite problem - had the Rasin migrated to Starling before I tried to apply for a Starling account. It took weeks before Starling fixed the issue and I am now a happy holder of both, a GBP and a Euro account with them.0 -

I checked after seeing the above and my funds had indeed arrived in Raisin - quick and easy faster payment to my nominated account.
Quite happy with service overall.0 -
Finally got my funds out today. I'm not going to go back to Raisin, or similar savings account portal. Well, not unless they pay me royally for having to put up with their long-winded procedures.0
